====== Light Level ====== [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]] is a mechanical term used to describe the amount of visible light in the local environment. [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]] primarily interacts with [Visual Perception], but can apply additional effects.\\ \\ There are five [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level|Light Levels]]: ===== Null Light ===== This is the lowest [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]]. There is no visible light, typical of lightless environments such as deep caves or unilluminated regions of space. ===== Dim Light ===== This [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]] provides minimal illumination, making it difficult to see clearly. Typical of dimly lit rooms, moonlit environments, or areas illuminated by distant light sources. ===== Neutral Light ===== This [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]] represents ordinary lighting conditions, providing sufficient illumination to see clearly. Typical of indoor environments with standard lighting or outdoor environments during the day. ===== Bright Light ===== This [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]] provides intense illumination, which may make it difficult to see clearly. Typical of brightly illuminated environments, powerful spotlights, or areas directly exposed to intense sunlight. ===== Blinding Light ===== This is the highest [[:Mechanic:General:Environment:Light Level]]. The intensity of the light makes it difficult or impossible to see, typical of flashbangs, extremely powerful light sources, or areas immediately adjacent to a star.\\ \\ In addition, during the [[:Mechanic:General:Time:Round#Environmental Step]] all [[:Character|Characters]] with [[:Character:Perception#Dull Visual]] [[:Character:Perception]] or greater, gain the [[:Mechanic:Conflict:Condition:Disoriented]] [[:Mechanic:Conflict:Condition]] until the start of the next [[:Mechanic:General:Time:Round#Environmental Step]].
