[[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice]] can be [[:Mechanic:General:Downgrade|Downgraded]] through the use of certain [[:Mastery|Masteries]], [[:Item|Items]] or  [[:Ability|Abilities]].\\

To [[:Mechanic:General:Downgrade]] a [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice|Die]] you simply replace the indicated [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice|Die]] in the [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool]] with the next [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice|Die]] as per the following progression table:\\

If you have been granted a [[:Mechanic:General:Downgrade]] but all of the [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice|Die]] in the [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool|Pool]] are already D4’s, then nothing happens. A [[:Mechanic:Roll:Dice Pool:Dice|Die]] cannot be [[:Mechanic:General:Downgrade|Downgraded]] below D4.
