====== Imperfection ======
**[[:Traits|Trait]]** - **[[:Game_Mechanics:Definitions:Property]]** \\
\\
When rolling a D20, a [[:Game_Mechanics:Dice Pool:Result]] of 20 is replaced with a [[:Game_Mechanics:Dice Pool:Result]] of 1. \\
\\
Due to the [[:Game_Mechanics:Dice Pool:Result]] of 20 being replaced with 1, you never achieve [[:Game_Mechanics:Success and Failure:Critical Success]], achieving [[:Game_Mechanics:Success and Failure:Critical Failure]] instead.\\

Imperfection is a VERY potent negative Property and is very rarely found natively on Items and Abilities for just this reason. If you are considering applying Imperfection to a Dice Pool as a result of roleplay or a consequence of some kind, we recommend putting strong consideration into this choice. A roll with Imperfection can never crit, functionally making that roll almost or completely impossible for Characters that aren't specialised in it, and even those who are, now critically fail on a 20. seems pretty sucky from the players point of view. All that to say, Imperfection is a great tool to apply if a roll SHOULD be desperate and near impossible, but if not, there are plenty of other Properties to spice up your rolls.
