Archetype

Archetype is a mechanical and categorical term. It is the broadest description an Item, Cyberware or Component can fall under.

Archetype is a term used to refer to these broad categories, organising and seperating them. Some Archetypes may have specific rules governing how they may be used, such as Equipping or Modding, each Archetype's page will define and explain these differences. See Apparel and Weapons for examples.
