====== Proficiencies ====== [[:Game Mechanics:Proficiencies#Proficiencies|Proficiencies]] are a mechanic offered by [[:Jobs]] and rarely by [[:Races]] and [[:Masteries]] that allow your [[:Character]] to add their [[:Game Mechanics:Definitions:Job Die]] to [[:Game Mechanics:Check|Checks]] and [[:Game Mechanics:Attack|Attacks]].\\ \\ Whenever a [[:Character]] is [[:Game Mechanics:Proficiencies#Proficiencies|Proficient]] in a [[:Skills|Skill]] or a [[:Ratings|Rating]] you may add their [[:Game Mechanics:Definitions:Job Die]] to [[:Game Mechanics:Check|Checks]] and [[:Game Mechanics:Attack|Attacks]] performed using that [[:Skills|Skill]] or [[:Ratings|Rating]].
