Equipment Upgrades
Equipment Upgrades are beneficial modifications you may apply to your Equipment with the help of skilled merchants or through a characters own skill in Tech or Masteries such as Fabrication, Mechanics, or Industrial.
Restrictions
Most Upgrades have restrictions on what types of Equipment they may be installed on, this is indicated by the Upgrade's Archetype and Subtype, if an upgrade shares an Archetype AND Subtype with the Item you wish to install it on, you may do so, if it does not share an Archetype or Subtype then you may not.
Requirements
Both Upgrades and Equipment have Brawn Requirements,
