The Universal Rules
Rule #1 - Discussion is always Appropriate
As [Appropiate] is a term that will occur often when reading rules throughout Meat Space that helps cover scenarios and situations that the rules do not account for or require more nuance, all [Players] are encouraged to discuss and determine what is [Appropiate] when these situations occur.
Rule #2 - This is how we roll
At its core Meat Space is a simple game, to do anything just declare your intent and you'll be prompted to perform a [Check], [Attack], [Save] or [Test] to accomplish it.
Rule #3 - If you can think of it, you can try it.
If you think of an idea to do something in the Meat Space, you can attempt it. As long as you are reasonable in your request, any course of action you perform should have a DC to accomplish it, whether this DC is achievable or not is entirely up to the difficulty of the action and how [Appropriate] it is in context.
Rule #4 - Effects of the same name do not stack
Effects of the same name, such as [Abilities], [Items] and [Traits] do not gain cumalative benefits from additional uses or having more [Equipped].
Example: Using the [Dodge] [Quick Action] twice would only increase your [Defence] once as [Dodge] has the same name as [Dodge].
Example 2: Equipping two [Combat Barricades] would only increase your [Armour] by 4, not 8. Whereas [Equipping] both a [Combat Barricade] and a [Round Shield] would increase your [Armour] by 5.
Rule #5 - You cannot Reroll a Reroll.
You may only take a [Die] and roll it again for different [Results] once. This only applies to Rerolls not Do-Overs.
