This Item cannot be used, or its effects will not function, unless a Skill(Tech unless otherwise specified) Ritual; X Action is performed ( X is equal to the value listed on the Item next to this trait.[in the case of Items with multiple marks choose the value corresponding to the mark you have chosen]). Once the Ritual is completed, it is able to perform any listed functions, even if you would move away from it. It will continue to function until retrieved or the Disrupt Action is performed upon it.

Should this item be used by a Character to perform actions, like Equipment, then it gains the Console Property once Set Up. You are automatically assumed to have mounted the Console when completing the Ritual. Should you take the Item with you when you move, it will need to be Set Up again.

In addition, if this Item is installed in a Weapon Pod, Equipment Mount or similar Item, it ignores the Set Up Property.
