Setup X

This Item cannot be used and its effects will not function, unless a Tech [Ritual]; X Action is performed, where X is equal to the value listed on the Item.

Unless otherwise specified on the Item, the Skill used to perform this [Ritual] is Tech.

Once the [Ritual] is completed, the Item is able to perform any listed functions, even if you would move away from it. It will continue to function until retrieved or the Disrupt Action is performed upon it.

Should this Item be used by a Character to perform Actions, such as Equipment Items, then it gains the Console Ability once setup. You are automatically assumed to have mounted the Console when completing the [Ritual]. Should you take the Item with you when you move, it will need to be setup again.

In addition, if this Item is installed in a [Weapon Pod], [Equipment Mount] or similar Item, it ignores the Setup Ability.
