| You may Downgrade a pending Attack against you. This will cause a Critical Success to become a Success, a Success to become a Failure and a Failure to become a Critical Failure. Regardless of the situation, as per Universale Rule #4 a single Attack can’t be Downgraded by the Mettle Action more than once. In addition, you may also perform the Mettle Action to remove a Condition or ongoing effect from you. This can’t be used to remove Afflictions, however. This Action doesn’t provoke a Multitasking Save. |
