Exhaustion
When performing an Ability with the same name more than once before the start of your next [Turn] you roll a D4 [Determination Die] and take the Result as Strain Damage before the Ability resolves. Should this Strain Damage result in you recieving the Downed Condition or otherwise incapacitate you, the Ability does not resolve and any Action or Quick Action Points spent are lost.
Each time Exhaustion is triggered after the first occurrence each [Turn], the [Determination Die] is Upgraded until the start of your next [Turn].
Example: Trombone Tony performs the Move Action and the Combat Action, he first spends 1 Action Point on the Move Action and resolves it as normal, he does likewise for his Combat Action. Tony decides he needs a little more space and performs a second Move Action which causes him to take Exhaustion, he rolls his [Determination Die], a D4, and takes 3 Strain Damage, then resolves his Move Action as normal.
Tony feels a bit safer at this range so opens fire, performing a second Combat Action, Exhaustion triggers, this time the [Determination Die] is Upgraded to a D6, Tony rolls and takes 5 Strain Damage. He dosn't hit 0 Strain, so no Panic [Tests] yet, and so resolves his Combat Action as normal.
