| While the Shield is Equipped, increase your Maximum Barrier by 5/10/15 at Mk. 1/2/3 respectively. (The term “increase” is applied after Set, meaning you Set your Maximum Barrier to an amount, then increase that amount.). In addition, at the start of your Turn, you may restore D4/D8/D12 Barrier (at Mk. 1/2/3 respectively) to you and your Allies, within 12 Units, or a Vehicle you are Crewing. |

Ash's Aside
This Upgrade should probably be Electronic, however, we try to avoid s that change your player sheet being able to be turned on and off, as that just makes note taking a pain in the arse. Narratively, this upgrade clearly is Electronic but it doesn't have the Ability because if you become Disrupted, you're going to lose your Barrier anyway, so it's largely irrelevant.
