Conditions

A Condition unless stated otherwise is a temporary effect that can hinder or harm those afflicted. Find below a list of all Conditions.

List of Conditions

Chunklettes

Condition - Injury.

Chunklettes is a Condition. A Character that is reduced to Chunklettes has become an unrecognisable pile of chunks. Their meat has has been torn into little pieces and their soul begins the process of passing into the Astral Space.

A Character under the effects of the Chunklettes Condition can no longer perform Actions nor can they communicate with the living or do anything else in the Meat Space.
This Condition can only removed by Abilities that specifically remove Chunklettes.

 

Death

Condition - Injury.

Death is a Condition. Death occurs when all vital functions of a Character, biological or otherwise, have ceased. Their meat has died and their soul begins the process of passing into the Astral Space.

A Character under the effects of the Death Condition can no longer perform Actions nor can they communicate with the living or do anything else in the Meat Space.

This Condition can only removed by Abilities that specifically remove Death.

 

Disintegrated

Condition - Injury.

Disintegrated is a Condition. A Character that is Disintegrated is reduced to a pile of dust and ash. Their meat has been completely atomised, with nothing left but particulate in the air, their soul begins the process of passing into the Astral Space.

A Character under the effects of the Disintegrated Condition can no longer perform Actions nor can they communicate with the living or do anything else in the Meat Space.

This Condition can only removed by Abilities that specifically remove Disintegrated.

 

Downed

Condition

The afflicted Target is unconscious, unable to move or otherwise act.

They can be awoken with the Help Action if they have more than 0 Health and Strain.

If the afflicted Target is healed, that will additionally remove this Condition.

 

Entangled

Condition.

Entangled is a Condition. A Character that is Entangled has their mobility restricted and finds it harder to act.

A Character under the effects of the Entangled Condition generates D4 less Action Points at the start of their [Turn], to a minimum of 0.

 

Grappled

Condition.

The afflicted entity loses 1 Action Point and 1 Quick Action Point at the start of their Turn.
Additionally the entity can’t move away from the Grappler (The Character causing the Grappled Condition).
Furthermore the affected entity can not use 1 of their Hands/Hand Slots.

 

Held

Condition.

Held is a Condition with no inherent effects, Held most notably allows other effects to activate or is a requirement for some Abilities to be used, many such Abilities and effects come from the Meat Mastery.

 

Immobilised

Condition.

The afflicted entity loses 2 Action Points at the start of their Turn. They may not perform the Move Action nor may they generate Movement Points while afflicted.

 

Marked

Condition

A Marked Entity can be Perceived and Acquired by an Entity with Dull Digital Perception, or greater.

 

Painted

Condition

Painted is a Condition.

Whenever an Entity performs an Attack against the Defence of the Painted Entity, a Bonus Die, is added to the Dice Pool. The Bonus Die will be dictated by the Item, Cyberware, [Component] or Ability, etc, that applies the Painted Condition.

 

Paralyzed

Condition

The afflicted Target generates 3 less Action Points at the start of their Turn.

In addition the Target cannot perform the Move Action nor generate Movement Points while under the effects of this Condition

 

Pinged

 

Prone

Prone is a Condition. If you are Prone, you are collapsed on the ground, deck or other surface, minimising your body profile or otherwise knocked flat.

A Target under the effects of Prone Condition causes all Attacks made against them within Adjacency to be performed under the effects of the Advantage Property. All Distant Attacks against them are performed under the effects of the Disadvantage Property instead.

In addition while under the effects of Prone moving costs twice as many MP.

The Prone Condition may be removed by using an Action to stand.

 

Scrambled

Condition.

A Target afflicted with this condition takes all Saves against any form of hacking or electronic warfare, including but not limited to Slicing or Netrunning Abilities with Disadvantage.

 

Stunned

Condition

The afflicted Target generates 4 less Action Points and 4 less Quick Action Points at the start of their Turn.
