If the Rod of Petrification successfully Attacks a target, they take a Fortitude_Save (Vs. a DC set by your Magic). If failed, the target is turned to stone, unable to act or otherwise be harmed.

Using the Rod of Petrification, you can perform a Magic Ritual; 80/Action, to depetrify targets. If you do not have the Rod, you can spend 5 Mana on completion of the Ritual instead, however, this would make it count as Wild Magic.

Furthermore, the Rod of Petrification can be used to create a 3×1 Obstacle on an otherwise relatively flat surface, as a Double Action, anywhere within Adjacency.
